Money-saving Tip: There will be a section on the SAT that will give you an opportunity to list four schools to send your test scores for FREE. List one UC school and one CSU school all the UC schools share the same system; If a student were to send their test scores to UC Berkely, other UC schools like UC Riverside or UC Irvine will also be able to access your test scores without any additional fees because all the UC schools share the same system. This also applies to California State Universities (CSU) meaning if you sent test scores to one CSU, the other CSU schools are also able to access the scores. After selecting one UC school and one CSU, it leaves two extra boxes for any private or out of states colleges (reminder the linked system doesn't apply to private or out of state schools)
How do I do it?
1. Online Registering:
When you register for the SAT or ACT, they will ask you if you would like to send your test scores. This is where you'd input one UC, one CSU, and two of your choice. (Can skip this part but I strongly recommend filling it out now before you forget) After purchasing your test, you will need to print the admission ticket and there would list the selected school's name and school code. On testing day, you will be given the opportunity to input the college school code on the test bubbling sheet. Simply copy from your admission ticket and you are good to go!
2. After the Test:
You have FIVE days to go back to College Board send your scores. The count down begins on your testing day. Save yourself from extra fees and go send your scores!
