Breath in... and... breath out.
Change is coming and I know it. In exactly 6 months we will be walking across the stage in caps and gowns as our family and friends cheer at the top of their lungs on graduation day. The caps will be tossed into the clear sky and that moment would signify the start of a new beginning.
We don't know what the future may hold or the people we may encounter. I once shied away from the unknown but after a while, I have come to accept change and will embrace everything it will throw at me. Of course, the people I have met in these past four years, I will hold very dear to my heart. After that final day, we shall no longer walk the halls as a student. We will continue moving on with life looking back at the many memories we've made, the places we once were and the laughs that we all shared.
It will be hard knowing that after that day, everyone will go there separate ways, but you know what, everything will be okay- life will work its course and everything will soon make sense. In order to grow, we must learn to move on and continue forward to reach our goals. Sometimes people come into our life for a reason, season, or a lifetime and every person that we have met throughout our lives has shaped the person we are today.
Forever remember the people who have helped you, encouraged you, or taught you throughout your journey and be sure to thank them because, without them, life may have been a little different. So hold your head high, walk across that stage with a confident smile and embrace the moment and all you have accomplished so far. In the meantime, cherish the time you have left and don't be afraid to move forward.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to leave any questions or comments. I'd love to hear about your senior year and how you felt when you realized graduation was approaching. Thanks again, until next time!
